In DT week this term we created our 'Moving Monsters', We had lots of fun learning about John Boyd Dunlop who created the first pneumatic tyre for his sons bike. We looked at how pneumatic toys work and then got to design our own moving monster. 

We took our time to design our monsters and then used a computer software to create a 3-D version to bring our monster to life. It was tricky, but we preserved and created some amazing designs. 

The best part of the week was being able to be creative and messy. We used air to make the mouths of our monsters move. By using two syringes and a tube we were able to create our own pneumatic system.

Our final design were FANTASTIC!
