Today we visited Great Barr Libary. We walked  to the library with the help of Mrs Sheehy and Ms Wysocka (thank you for your help!). We met the Librarians Susan and Mary. They told us all about the library and all the events which will be taking place during half-term. Susan read us a story and then explained that we were each allowed to choose a book to borrow and keep in a special box at school. We chose our books very carefully and then used the issuing machine to check out our books and as if by magic the machine knew exactly which books we had selected! 

We were also given our own brand new 'Booktastic' Library  card to take home, so we can choose books with our families and take them home to read! 

We had a great time at the library and we are looking forward to visiting again soon!
