Christmas Craft Day 2017
Christmas Craft Day
Christmas crafting hit Holy Name primary school yesterday! A great day was had by all. We spent our day in other classrooms with different adults.
Here are some of the activities which we did:
In the Reception classroom, children painted a wooden nativity scene with Miss Edmunds and Mrs Berry.
In the Year One classroom, children made miniature snow globes and stained glass windows of the nativity scene with Mrs Chapman and Miss Rackham.
In the Year Two classroom, Children created their own nativity scene scratch art and collaged bauble decorations with Miss Hughes and Mrs Lal.
In the Year Three classroom, children created their own nativity bunting to hang up at home with Miss Villers, Mrs Hartshorne and Mrs Slevin.
In the Year Four classroom, children learned how to stitch and made their own king puppets with Mrs Anderson and Miss McNally.
In the Year Five classroom, children made ‘handprint camel’ decorations with Mr Wilkes, Ms Vowles and Mrs Slevin.
In the Year Six classroom, children made ‘Star of Bethlehem’ Christmas tree decorations with Mr Shanahan, Ms Vowels and Mrs Nokes.
I’m sure that the children had the most wonderful day and I hope that they are proud of the artwork that they produced.
