Science was great fun, if not a little smelly in Year One the other day. We were investigating the parts of a fish. Some of us were feeling brave and even held the fish!

We learnt about why fish have gills and tails. Then we compared ourselves to fish and we quickly realised how different we are.

Did you know that fish don't blink? We had a staring competition to see what it felt like not to blink - it was not very comfortable for us!
