Birches Valley
Today Reception class went on a trip to Birches Valley Forestry Centre. We arrived and went on a woodland walk in search of Father Christmas' Reindeer. They had been lost! We spotted Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen. Until we found the most famous reindeer of all- Rudolph!
Whilst on our walk we saw... THE GRUFFALO! We carefully snuck up to him so we didnt scare him away! We also saw some beautiful fairy cottages! We even saw some messages people had left for them!
After eating lunch we went to visit Father Christmas. We each told Santa what we wanted for christmas, and he gave us a lovely christmas tree, which we can grow at home for a long time to come!
We had a fabulous time and Miss Edmunds measured our steps on her 'FitBit' and we managed to walk 12,588 steps which is 8.22 km. We definitely deserve an early night!
