Today we thought about the Science question " What do earthworms do?". We had a small discussion then went outside in search of worms.  We tapped on the soil and on the ground with our hands and feet to send vibrations into the ground. We tricked the worms into coming up to the surface where we collected them and we brought them inside where we set up a wormery. We are going to observe them over the next week to see if we can answer the question " What do earthworms do?".
